ACAC is excited to bring our second exhibition in 2024 to Akaroa following on from the success of our first exhibition in 2024.

Submissions of interest are now being called for – so if you are a Banks Peninsula artist, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

All ages and all media  from painters to sculptors, poets to composers.

Sparkle will be on show at our usual art space in Akaroa – 65 Rue Lavaud (that also houses the Akaroa Butchery and Toy Library).

The exhibition will run across four weekends in October to November 2024, starting on  Saturday morning 27 October.

Come along and show your work!

We hope you will have some work to exhibit with us. Our mission is to enable our local artists, both amateur and professional, to exhibit their work which can be for sale or not. Works are displayed for the public to enjoy viewing.
We take a small commission on sales and expect each artist to do a morning or afternoon slot at the Gallery which involves either opening or closing for that day, caring for sales…being the Gallery ‘Minder’. Submission forms ( see below ) will have more information.
We will need your work delivered, ready to hang, on Friday 18th October. If you can’t do this email or phone to arrange a time over the Saturday 19th or Sunday 20th.
ph. 0225043447

We would like your Submission forms in to us by the previous Friday 11th October. or any time earlier is really good. As ever we are incredibly flexible with this, but we must have the signed forms at the very latest with the delivery of your work. ( please let me know number and type of
work you expect to bring as soon as you can so that we have some idea of numbers for hanging…txt me )
Best wishes for a productive winter.
