April’s Fool Exhibition 2024

Opening Thursday 28th March 2024 at 5pm – all welcome.

Then runs over 5 weekends –

From Friday 29 March 2024 Easter Friday – until Monday 1 March – Easter Monday AND April Fools Day!

Saturday 6 April and Sunday 7 April

Saturday 13 April and Sunday 14 April

Saturday 20 April and Sunday 21 April

Possibly Thursday 25 and Friday 26 April

Saturday 27 April and Sunday 28 April

From 10am to 4pm

67 Rue Lavaud, Akaroa (beside the Butcher shop).

ACAC is excited to bring our new exhibition in 2024 to Akaroa following on from the success of our exhibition in 2023.

Submissions of interest are now being called for – so if you are a Banks Peninsula artist, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

All ages and all media from painters to sculptors, poets to composers.

April’s Fool will be on show at our usual art space in Akaroa – 65 Rue Lavaud (that also houses the Akaroa Butchery and Toy Library).

The exhibition will run across five weekends in March to April 2024, starting on Friday morning 29 March.

Come along and show your work!

Work to be picked up 4 to 5pm on Sunday 28th. And Monday 29th. 10.30 to 12pm. Or by other arrangements with Anne.

We do ask that you do a half day ‘minding ‘ the Gallery over those weekends please.

More information and the Waiver Forms can be found soon at this website. Artists must submit the waiver form which you will need to fill in, SIGN, and return to us, preferably before 15th March, although we are incredibly flexible on that last date!

Please note, the price you submit on the waiver form is the price that will be displayed to potential buyers. If you wish to change a price, you will need to submit a new signed waiver with that price change.
