Parking area on Hickory Bay Rd just past the Cab Stand.
Take the Long Bay Road off SH75 between Akaroa and Takamatua.
Drive up to top of hill to multi crossroads. The parking area in front of you is the Cab Stand. Turn up Hickory Bay Rd beside the Cab Stand area and drive along to a parking area on the left. View is towards upper Akaroa Harbour.

A free day ! Arrive and leave at your pleasure, but starts at 10am. Finish 4pm.
Bring your own kit … seat, easel, paints etc and lunch.
A hopefully suitable weather day will be chosen from the first full week of every month.
