ACAC is excited to bring their third art exhibition to Akaroa following the success of our Unlocked In Paradise and Life Drawing exhibitions in 2020/2021.

Woodcuts, oil paintings and flax weaving works will be on show in a new art space in Akaroa – rooms in the building at 65 Rue Lavaud that also houses the Akaroa Butchery and Toy Library.

We will open on Saturday 17July  morning at 10am, for three weekends in succession.

We invite artists who have regularly attended our Woodcuts, Oil Painting and Kura Raranga workshops to submit for this exhibition.

WOW is more than works by modern artists, WOW includes historical works by G A Genet – a Canterbury artist of the mid 20th century, a Kelliher award winner professional Canterbury artist.

These works will be sold by auction and all profits go to Akaroa School.
